Rotherham Sailing Club is a friendly, family-oriented club with a real passion for getting people out on the water. Set on the beautiful Harthill Reservoir (conveniently located between Sheffield and Worksop, just minutes from the M1 and M18), we offer fantastic sailing in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Our modern clubhouse is the perfect place to relax, socialise and enjoy stunning lakeside views.
Whether you’re into dinghy racing, leisurely cruising, open-water swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing or radio-controlled model yachts, we’ve got something for everyone. Our thriving youth section and dedicated training team make it easy for complete beginners and improvers of any age to get started and progress quickly.

Newcomers are always welcome at Rotherham Sailing Club, from complete beginners to experienced racers, children to grandparents. As a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), we keep fees affordable and focus on getting as many people as possible out on (or in) the water.
You don’t need to own a boat to become a member. We have a fleet of club boats available for hire at just a small charge per session.
